Ambassador Chloe Hypnotized Her Mom with Her Beautiful Brown Eyes

Ambassador Chloe

I had always been a cat person. I grew up with a family dog, but had never had one of my own.  About 3 years ago I was in San Diego to see the Padres play.  It was very sunny outside, and needed to get a new pair of sunglasses, so I ran into this sun glass shop near the stadium.

The girl that worked there had brought her baby pug to work... and that was the beginning of my love affair with the pug breed.  On our way home from San Diego we stopped in a couple of the towns to check out their dog shops, in the hopes of finding a baby pug, but there weren’t any.

After I returned home from the trip I figured it was for the best that I hadn’t found one. I didn’t know if I’d be able to handle a puppy. I had never potty trained anything before... my cats came potty trained.  Plus, I am single and work all day.  But in the back of my mind I kept thinking about it. I would go online and look up baby pugs. I would talk about it, but still never act on it.

About 9 months later my dad and I were out to lunch, I mentioned how there was a pet store right around the corner and we decided it wouldn't hurt to take a look.

We walked in and there she was...  as soon as I saw her beautiful brown eyes it was the end for me.  I fell madly in love with her, and I’ve never looked back.  I had not done any research on buying a dog, otherwise I probably would not have gone to a pet store.  I honestly feel as if I did rescue her that day because she looked so sad and alone, but her demeanor changed as soon as she was in my car, in my dad’s lap, driving home with us.

I was so excited when I found out about Bo & DeeMo.  I thought it would be nice to be around people who loved and understood the bully breeds.  And then we found out about the campaign for Chloe to become an Ambassador.  All of my friends and co-workers were so supportive.

The highlight was the fashion show at MJ Christensen Jewelers.  It was so exciting to be part of that experience, and Chloe had such an amazing time! She even ended up on TV!  I was such a proud mama!

As far as the breed that Chloe represents, I cannot say enough things about how fantastic the pug breed is.  I am so in love with them!

She is the sweetest, most loving, most charismatic, funny little dog.  I take her everywhere that I can, and people are always drawn to her.  The ladies at the White House Black Market at Town Square are always happy to see her, and remember her.  It’s funny, because people will remember her name, and I can tell they have forgotten mine.  I tell them I’m Chloe’s mom, that’s all they need to remember.

Of course I am constantly talking about her at work.   My co-workers respect the fact that she is my baby.  I could not have chosen a more perfect breed for me if I had tried.

On the days I am lazy she’s right there with me.  But she also loves her daily walks, and goes to day camp at least once a week.

Chloe has two brothers, Coal and Chase.  They are two beautiful cats, but I must admit that neither one of them love her as much as I do.  But we do all live together in harmony.

"Patty & Chloe have been a great addition to the B&D family. We are so proud of Chloe's representation as Ambassador.  A responsible, loving bully Mom is one trait I look for at our model searches. So glad they were apart if it!"
