Let us answer why this type of training is so important to pet owners! Dee Mounts writes that  

"I get hundreds of emails a week with questions on CPR, dog fights, Vets, illness symptoms from our fans asking me for help.  Although I've been "Human CPR Certified" a LONG time ago, it was time for me to get PET CPR educated!  Listening to fans, we partnered with our favorite Animal Hospital, Camino Al Norte and Dr. Carlos Varela and asked American Red Cross to instruct our fans on this important information.

Everything got covered: Over heating, bandaging, muzzling an injured pet, safely transporting an injured pet, what to do and NOT to do in an emergency, Pet first aid kit necessities, toxic foods for pets and so much more.  One of my favorite parts of the class was the students sharing breed specific concerns, and getting breed specific answers from other students, Dr. Varela or myself.  Even our Instructor, Jinny learned "Bully" tricks and first aid for our special breeds.

Most of us owned packs! The Pugs were represented, Frenchies, Bulldogs, Pitbulls, Poodles, Beagles, Cats, Rabbits to name a few!  I can't stress enough how IMPORTANT this class was and is for future attendees. If you have ONE pet, this is a MUST to attend.  Rescues, Foster Parents, Owners of Companies in the Pet Industry, Pet Friendly Businesses and Animal owners...PET CPR will educate you beyond belief and help prepare you to save a FUR LIFE!" 

Bo & DeeMo will hold another class in the next month or two!  Sheila of CANAH also made special cookies for all of us to snack on! Each classmate took home a BULLDOG BALLOON SCULPTURE and a Bo & DeeMo backpack SWAG bag filled with lots of goodies! It’s A Bully Thing!

Animal Lovers and Owners! Bo & DeeMo, Camino Al Norte Animal Hospital and Las Vegas Red Cross are partnering up to bring you Pet CPR EDUCATION!

All monies are paid directly to the Red Cross! A certified instructor will teach on pet mannequins all the necessary education to save your furry loved ones in case of an emergency!

Your costs for the class gets you: 4 hour class by Certified Red Cross Instructor, take home-DVD and Book, a Completion of Course certificate and a mini swag bag!

Pets can choke of their own kibble, Can stop breathing-Do you know what and how to do pet CPR to bring them "back"? Pet first aid is vital education to ensure you can help in their time of need!

Class MAXIMUM is 10 (due to mannequins), MINIMUM participants is 6!

Las Vegas – Spring is in the air and as Prom attendees throughout the nation are getting ready for their special moment so are the canine’s of Las Vegas! They are looking for canine tuxes and dresses to wear and go mix and mingle! Bo &DeeMo’s Puppy Prom 2011 will be held at Count’s Vamp’d House of Rock and Home of D’Amore’s Pizza www.vampdvegas.com and pups are ready to rock n’ roll!

All of the prom accessories will be available such as savory Pupcakes from “Cupkates by Kate,” http://cupkateslv.com/ so all canines can have a special treat for $2 of which $1 goes towards helping the pups of FUPI www.ForeclosedUponPets.org (Foreclosed Upon Pets Inc.) They can also buy one for their “date” or the special pup they have their eye on! At Puppy Prom 2011 will be corsages and boutonnieres to complete the perfect Prom outfit. These will be handmade by FUPI and will provide a valuable keepsake for you and your pup to treasure and remember Bo & DeeMo’s Puppy Prom 2011. All of this money also is going to help FUPI. Bo & DeeMo donate to Heaven Can Wait Animal Society! Remember Spay & Neuter!!

Yesterday was a great day for Bo and DeeMo and Heaven Can Wait Animal Society! HCWS was presented a check that will help with the spay and neuter clinic that President Harold Vosko is very passionate about. He took Brandi (Bo) on a tour of the clinic and explained that education and good responsible owners will be the only way to end the feral cat and canine overcrowding at shelters and rescues that the valley is currently facing.

HCWS is also in the midst of reaching out to the Hispanic community and offering to spay and neuter their Chihuahuas and Pit Bulls for free. These two breeds are currently the most euthanized in the valley. For more information visit -  http://www.hcws.org
